The Chicago Cardinals are one of the hottest teams in the Chicago land area. Based on the SouthSide of Chicago within the Englewood area, The Chicago Cardinals project and promote professionalism at all times. The Chicago Cardinals believe that in life you need commitment, discipline and dedication to be succesful. Hard work and support is expected from everyone associated with the team. The Chicago Cardinals work extremely hard to show that they are here for more than just football. The Chicago Cardinals will be active members in the community, lending a helping hand when needed. The Chicago Cardinals goal is to excel in outstanding ways. The Chicago Cardinals was started in 2006 by two guys, Jermaine Erving & Jacobi McDade, whom both has great passion for the game of Football. After playing with each other for many years the two friends decided to form their own organization and in the first three years of existence, The Chicago Cardinals compiled an incredible record of 42-6 with two Championships coming during the frst two years; The first year (2006) in The Ultimate Football League (UFL) and the second year (2007) in The Great Midwest Football League (GMFL). In 2008 the team finished with a 9-2 record after losing in the first round of the GMFL playoffs. This year (2009) The Chicago Cardinals have re-structured its organization. The two owners have decided to part ways in which Jacobi McDade formed his own organization, The Oak Park Pirates, leaving Jermaine Erving to sole ownership of The New Chicago Cardinals. With just as many talented players this year as prior years, The New Chicago Cardinals are back at it again. The New Chicago Cardinals are once again looking to win another League Championship in the GMFL and will continue to work and practice hard in order for it to be accomplished. Headed into their Fourth season with one thing on there mind and that’s to win another Championship. The New Chicago Cardinals are a team that stays together and works hard to overcome adversity and any obstacles in the way of success. The Cardinals live for one thing all year round and that’s the famous slogan: “Get Money” .
