he was selected as 1 of the top 100 amateur cooks in the Country and flown out to L.A. to be a contestant on MasterChef Season 3. While he was quickly eliminated from the show due to some admittedly terrible plating, the experience lit a spark which has been growing into a roaring bonfire of passion for being in the Kitchen which can be followed on his blog MaurPowerFoodie.Wordpress.com. Jason has worked in restaurants in some capacity since he was 13, and over the past 17 years he has worked to master the art of cooking. As an attorney, personal chef, DJ, and actor, Jason is out to prove that you can be both a Jack of All Trades and a Master of a few of them as well.
