MEET THE NOTORIOUS SPINKS: BOOKS ARE HER BUSINESS

Blogger, entrepreneur and book whore, Notorious Spinks loves all things books. She started in December 2009 as a book blogger and her blog has now evolved into a cultural blog covering current events and newsworthy topics. As a result of her love for books, Spinks continues to review books on a regular basis and was inspired to create Books And... this spring. Books And... reaches out to authors of color to promote their literary works via virtual book tours. In her real life, Spinks is a full-time student and an AmeriCorps member. As an AmeriCorps member she conducts home visits to expecting mothers of color to help decrease the infant mortality rate in Memphis.
