Alex Mistretta

Alex Mistretta, author of the book The Presence, is one of the few full time professional investigators in field. He is the former MUFON Los Angeles Director of Investigations and a former member of MUFON's Star Team. He is currently the Director of Investigations for U.P.A.R.S. Alex is a Cryptozoologist, former member of Big Cats in Britain, and an expert in Hominids and African cryptozoology. He is also a long time researcher in the Parapsychology field, often working with Dr Barry Taff. Alex has a BS in Anthropology and a BS in Psychology from the University of Illinois. Chicago. He has devoted his life to research into the paranormal, UFOs, hidden history and cryptozoology. Described as part Fox Mulder and part Indiana Jones, Alex has been featured on several television shows, including UFO Files and Legend Hunters.
