Some of the world's most prominent government whistleblowers and human rights activists gathered during the week of May 11-18, 2008 in Washington, D. C. to lobby Congress and alert the public to the need to support whistleblower protection. Part of the momentous occasion was a historical, Citizens' Forum On Judicial Accountability (CFOJA) which took place on Capitol Hill, Thursday - May 15, 2008. “Change of Venue” anchors an intense, multi-media, public awareness campaign promoting the importance and practical benefit of the CFOJA report to be completed and presented to the new Congress.

The first show was fantastic. The forum in Washington, DC was informative, dynamic, and encouraging. I hope that there will be much more to come. I will be advertising the show to everyone. I do hope that we are pursuing a relationship with Justice O'Connor. I will volunteer, at my expense, to participate if we can get involved with her organization or any "Judicial Accountability" organization. Katherine Moore

Well I got through my first show! Boy, I had forgotten how distracting the word "uhmmm" can be on a recording. At times I sure peppered my listening audience with those dreaded uhmmm's. Back to public speaking 101! All in all, I thought our first show was a great start. Attorney McCray was helpful and engaging as always. I can imagine how good the dialogue will be when I'm joined by Betsy Combier, Matthew Fogg, and Michael McCray. They're all dynamic activists and public speakers. Don't forget to tune in on July 28, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. CDT. We want to hear from you as well. Plan on calling in to talk with Betsy, Matthew, and Michael. They're great folks. Until then, take care. Zena
