OUR PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY is based on the belief that any and all addictive behviors are a family disease affecting each member of the family system. As a result, they may suffer from impaired judgment, diminished self-esteem, fear and high anxiety. Thus, the "identified person" is the family system as a whole.
IN THE RECOVERY COMMUNITY, our services play a distinctive role. For over 10 years, we have worked effectively with people suffering from the effects of addictive behaviors and substance-related afflictions. In addition to working with the addict, we have built a solid reputation for working with the families of addicts, which allows us to focus on the "invisible" issues and the un-manageability that few address: doing what doesn't work, work-a-holism, compulsive care-giving, control, perfectionism, misery addiction, relationship addiction. Most significantly, we apply twelve-step principles to all of these self-defeating habits. We have provided self tests and corresponsding materials to help identify these issues in order to move on to the next right thing for the mental health of the family and the individuals that reside within. All you can know for sure is that you want to move forward; the how is what you'll learn here
