The Road to Wrestlemania starts with a wall of 29 other men (or in some cases women) with the same goal in mind, to Main Event at WrestleMania and capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The Royal Rumble has been a corner stone PPV since 1988. For 27 years it has been one of the most anticipated and unpredictable events of the year. However the event was not always how we see it today. We explore the history of the Rumble. The main focus is eliminations and avoiding elimination.
