Tisa Silver: Financing options New business owners.

Tisa Silver, author of The Time Value of Life, is a native of Prince George’s County, Maryland. She is a graduate of the University of Delaware’s Alfred E. Lerner College of Business and Economics, obtaining an undergraduate degree in Finance and Economics and a graduate degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation, Tisa joined the faculty of the University of Delaware, serving four years as a full-time Instructor of Finance with a primary course load consisting of Corporate Finance and Investments. In her spare time, she has shared her financial knowledge with a variety of schools and local organizations. Tisa is a frequent contributor to local media outlets and has appeared on WHYY’s Delaware Tonight and Comcast’s Art Fennell Reports. She is an author and financial reviewer for Investopedia, A Forbes Digital Company and a financial markets blogger for b5media.
