"Don't give up, the best is yet to come"
Sometimes, situations and circumstances in this life can make you feel like you want to give up on everything and everyone. David and I are no different, we've been through times when it seemed that everything was going wrong in our marriage, in our children, on our jobs and with anything else that had to do with us. There were many times in the past that I did give up and I walked away from the best thing that ever happened to me, my husband. But it was in the face of adversity, my husband never gave up. It would have been easy for him to rationalize throwing in the towel and walking away from the whole thing; but through The Love of Christ in his heart, he ultimately continued to work, he continued to be there for our daughters and most of all he kept his faith in God. Sometimes it doesn't seem like your faith is working, but faith never stops working. We stop working our faith. Through all that he endured as the head of our home, no matter where I was in my life, God worked everything out for our good. There’s something about not allowing your heart to give up in times of trials and hardship that proves and strengthens your character in more ways than one.
Have you ever been through something that made you want to give up? What helped you hold on and keep moving forward?
Does it seem but a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to Himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the Lord and to stand before the congregation to minister to them?
