Join Carl Brown, Executive Director at the center for Minority Business Development and Darryl Barnes, President of Barnes International, and Founder of Men Aiming Higher during a discussion on the need to improve young people's lives through mentoring programs.

Men Aiming Higher, Inc. was created in 2009 with the mission to successfully mobilize at-risk young men between the crucial ages of 16 to 29, strategizing them through educational tutoring, leadership training, mentoring programs and community service projects to be a catalyst in directing their paths away from negative peer pressure, unacceptable moral behavior, gangs and other negative urban-living obstacles, and empowering them to become our future leaders and thinkers as well as socially, culturally and community conscience African American young men.

Men Aiming Higher, Inc. seeks to serve as a symbol of leadership by utilizing diverse talents to create environments where our children are motivated to achieve, and to empower them to become self-sufficient through empowerment skills and meaningful employment within the communities we live in. (This vision is about people helping people reach more of their potential through well rounded personal, professional, and emotional growth.)
