If you have never encountered a stressful moment in your life, either you are the luckiest person on the planet, or you do a really good job of taking things in stride. Either way, I want to congratulate you and encourage you to keep up the good work because you are doing something right.
But the reality is, most people feel stressed out more than half the time. According to a study done by the American Psychological Association, American Institute of Stress in New York, the United States is one stressed-out nation.
How much of the stress we bring on ourselves and how much is induced by our environment is debateable, but regardless of where it comes from, one thing is certain: stress takes a toll on our health and happiness.
