Bishop Elect Benny Sagra, Diocesan Head of the Southwestern and Northwestern Division USA of the Canonical Catholic Church of the Celtic Cross, licensed by the Celtic Cross Ministry celebrates the Sunday Mass of the 4th Sunday in Lent at St. John the Evangelist Chapel, Laguna Woods, California, USA.  With the inclusion of the Litany to the Celtic Saints and adapted Readings and Prayers from the St. Joseph Daily Missal 1961 Edition, the recited Mass is a pure, unencumered and devotional old Catholic way.  A Gregorian chant introduces the sacred setting of the Mass and it proceeds smoothly and prayerfully in the time span of just 30 minutes.  It is appropriate for listeners who are homebound or traveling  and are unable to go to a live Sunday Mass.

Introduction:  Laetare (Rejoice), says the Introit.  Laetare Sunday offers us a rest in the midst of the Lenten observance.  We are to rise again soon with Jesus through confession and Easter Communion.

Liturgical Color - Purple or Rose

Epistle Reading:  Galatians 4:22-31

Gospel Reading:  John 6:1-15

Lector & Prayer Leader:  Sister Marley Lusaya Sagra

"Praise the Lord, for He is good; sing praise to His name, for He is sweet; all that He wills He does in heaven and on earth." - Psalm 134:3.6.
