Erika Jackson is President and CEO of Turnaround Coaching, Inc. of Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence achieve new levels of self-esteem, selfworth,and personal empowerment through coaching and practical application tools. Her personal mission is to help women expect more of themselves, help them create a personal plan of action, and provide resources that will assist the process. Mrs. Jackson’s vision for developing others began when she became a single mother. After a traumatic separation from her husband in 1985, Erika had an epiphany. She realized that she was blessed to have acquired very marketable administrative skills as a result of an unexpected job opportunity in New Jersey. Erika then nurtured a desire to assist other single mothers develop the skills that would make them highly sought after employment candidates. As a result, Mrs. Jackson is the founder and Executive Director of the Self Empowerment Learning Facility (SELF), a non-profit organization offering employability skills training, mentoring, and personal coaching along with other educational opportunities.
