On the program, we will have two guests who have been past attendees of the conference and they will provide an honest first-hand account of what it’s like to attend the conference.  The guests are Gwen “Sunny” Simmons and Nancy Egger. Sunny is a RN and the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director of the Charles E. Holman Foundation. Nancy Egger has suffered with Morgellons for 24+ years and is an enthusiastic patient advocate for people with Morgellons. Both of the guests have attended every conference and they will give a “snap shot” view of the conference experience. The guests will discuss the many highlights of attending the conference, such as gaining the insight of the professionals researching this disease.  Furthermore, they will elaborate on the many personal benefits the conference attendee will experience, such as the feeling of camaraderie and acceptance that comes from connecting with others with this disease. These guests will emphasize how the annual conference can serve as a catalyst to developing a unified Morgellons community; a community that is filled with hope as we work together to fight for our inherent right to top quality health care. 00:32:00Morgellons Scientific Researchnomorgellons, charles e holman, medical conference 2013,Lyme disease,Cindy CaseyToday’s program will be a preview of what a conference attendee might expect to experience at this year’s conference, held in Austin, TX on April 13 & 14, 2013Marianne Middelveen Discusses New Morgellons Researchhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/cehf/2013/01/20/marianne-middelveen-discusses-new-morgellons-researchHealthhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/cehf/2013/01/20/marianne-middelveen-discusses-new-morgellons-research/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/cehf/2013/01/20/marianne-middelveen-discusses-new-morgellons-researchSun, 20 Jan 2013 23:00:00 GMTMarianne Middelveen Discusses New Morgellons Research Marianne Middelveen is a microbiologist and a medical mycologist in Calgary, Alberta, Canada currently working in the field of Veterinary Microbiology.  She is the principle investigator of three ground breaking Morgellons publications, including the latest research released January 2013 that she co-authored with Peter Mayne, Douglass  Kahn, and Raphael Stricker entitled, the Characterization and Evolution of Dermal Filaments from Patients with Morgellons Disease.
