This Diamond Moment  

Happy New Year Everyone!

Below are some affirmations and notes  I took from my last Raja Yoga class which you might find as helpful as I did.

 

I say ”Farewell” to the Old World,  and “Welcome” to the New. The new world in front of me is filled with zeal and enthusiasm for bringing  to life all my dreams.  As I transform myself with Love, I can be a light that is never extinguished as an imperishable lamp.

 

Just as I am bidding farewell to the old year, I bid farewell  to old habits

and thought patterns. I am bringing into practical form, ideas and beliefs that nourish and sustain me. This destroys old binding tendencies that keep me from inner peace.

I am picturing myself spreading these new happy powerful  thoughts out from my mind to the world I perceive and interact with and with these words I write. By taking an elevated attitude, I see my perception as the foundation for all the scenes and experiences in front of me.  I am compacting all I want to attain into a seed and see it growing into the next year ahead... A fruitful, heathy happy tree, no matter what seems to be occurring. I stay rooted in the soil of my mother earth and bring in warmest sunlight to my leaves.

 

I Consider this the Year of Success! 2008  

I am thinking of success as being my birthright.

Success defined as becoming whole, pure and complete. 

 

Main question for action: What treasures do I have within that may help bring happiness and comfort to the souls of the world?  One of the main treasures we all have is the treasure of TIME. This is one treasure that should never go to waste. In this special year, every second is very important. I use every breath in a worthwhile way. I use every thought in a worthwhile way for I now encompass every moment with care, creativity and compassion. It all seems so sacred. For I know that what I do and think now is actually sending a creative force from the Present into the Future and the Past at the same time. 

I am finding inventive ways to re-teach myself new perceptions. For example, I am trying these three words:

 

1-bodiless - not a body, but a sensible powerful point of consciousness that transcends time and space)  

2- egoless ( I-less and My-less)

3- viceless ( no bad habits that block inner peace and power)

 

My favorite slogan : Easily, Simply, Myself as a Sample.

 

This year, more than ever, it is extremely important to create something that makes all my ideas very easy and simple.  People do not want to listen or read anymore. They want to see me as a sample. Walking the talk is even more imperative.

 

If I wait for others to make better world there will be no change. If I start to break out of the drone of what everyone else is doing with courage, following my own unique ideas, thinking.." I have to do it, others will do something when they see me do something."

 

When I become constantly, endlessly focused on my own transformation and own completeness, obstacles and illusions and distractions will have no room to trouble my world. All problems are banished because I am always focused on solutions. 

 

From this vantage point,  I advise myself. Seeing myself as the king of my own kingdom. Thinking of each second as being equal to a year in the future I am creating. Assimilating all the divine virtues that I can think of.  Banishing carelessness and laziness. Then I will reach my target of becoming Whole and Complete.

Be Complete/Whole

Unification = Oneness + Glorification 

 

Uni-  (like Unicycle) focus vision on Self transformation only- Uni-vision!

and the glory of the ONE* and one another as parts of one whole, claim each one as my own valued part of myself

Glorify the experience, the moment each other, this precious moment. That way of thinking,  will bring the two separate parts together.

Combining "Oneness"  and "Glorification" creates Unification.

 

Dictionary definition: glorify 

1 reveal or make clearer the glory of God by one's actions 2 praise

Blessing:  "May you continue into this New Year, tuned into a renewed inner song of long forgotten, but now found undefinable, inexplicable, very concrete and long-lasting joy! Dance in happiness in your mind.  Be the image of experience of deep happiness and give others the experience of this happiness. Happiness is not formed on what or how much we have without, but how much we have united and merged our expansion within. Love from the heart is the biggest prize of all.”
