The 2019 College World Series is upon us now that the 2019 Super Regionals have been completed. The story out of the super regionals is the fact that no west coast teams will be a part of the college world series for the first time since 1996. We will react to that, especially the UCLA baseball loss to Michigan, as we continue to perpetuate a west coast bias.
We'll explore why it doesn't pay to be a #1 seed in the college baseball division I tournament as part of the Around The Bases segment.
Hammerin' Hank Tran will lead a discussion on the Division II Baseball Championship Game won by University of Tampa, who now have the 3rd most championships in all divisions of college baseball behind USC and Florida Southern.
There will be a roundtable discussion on the highlight out of the weekend in which Kumar Rocker threw a no-hitter for Vanderbilt to lead them into the 2019 College World Series.
We'll finish up recapping the rest of the 1st round of the 2019 Baseball Draft after recapping the first 10 picks on the previous show.
Finally, we will predict who will be the last two teams standing to determine who will win the college world series finale.
This show is as loaded as the final 8 teams that will compete in the college world series. Enjoy!
