What's the big hurry, bully?

We are an impatient people.  We are always in a hurry, and we often find ourselves getting extremely irritated with anyone whom we believe is slowing down our progress toward achieving our world transforming goals. A few weeks ago, I had to intervene when a retired man physically threatened a young female checker at Sam's Club.  Her "crime?"  Having to wait for a supervisor because the customer before Mr. Important decided she didn't want what had been rung up and walked away.  What's up? What in the world is going on?  We'll discuss it today!
