The Catholic Revolver with Jerry - Carrie MacGillis

Carrie MacGillis is the Founding Editor & Publisher of Michigan Scrapbooker Magazine. Michigan Scrapbooker is a local, free publication distributed at scrapbooking stores, retreat houses, expos and cropping events. Michigan Scrapbooker has about 35,000 readers and a very active Facebook page with over 1,600 fans. Carrie handles all of the editorial and advertising responsibilities. Michigan Scrapbooker is aimed at supporting independently owned scrapbook businesses. Carrie is a parishioner at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Waterford. She had taught Religious Education classes for 5 years and currently teaches 4th graders. She is passionate about teaching children about their faith so they will hopefully have a full understanding of how much God loves them and how amazing the Catholic church is. Carrie also enjoys volunteering at St. Ben's in various other formats, including starting a Marriage Made for Heaven program. Carrie lives with her husband, David, their daughter, Kaylie, and their dog, Daisy, in the metro-Detroit area.
