It's great to have social support but let's look at the other side of the coin...STRESS, is stress making you sick? Are you stressed-out because you're lonely? You don't have to be bored and lonely, REACH OUT, VOLUNTEER. To have a friend, you have to be a friend.
STRESS is a natural part of life but an abundance of STRESS can overpower the body and put you in a constant 'fight or flight" mode which can have negative effects on you, your body and your heart.
