TIPS for cultivating a happier vision of you life, the World. Begin by LISTENING TO YOURSELF. Have you habitually put yourself down since childhood. Over a life time, those negative messages can turn you into a pessimist and ultimately may affect your health. Get your pen and pad out, for 10 days, write down phrases you say to yourself..."I'm too old, too fat," "I'm such a jerk." You'll probably end up with a list of 5-10 phrases you repeat over and over again. NOW STOP THOSE THOUGHTS and replace them with more positive thoughts.
WRITE YOURSELF A LETTER: Be honest, tell the truth. Remember you're writing to YOU. Set aside 20 mins a day for 5 days and write about how you feel. Don't worry about grammar or spelling. Writing about how you feel can help resolve problems and subdued negative feeling.
