From many sources, we have accounts of civilizations that flourished before being lost to time, without any trace. But one thing is certain - mankind, in some form, was given an enormous amount of sacred and esoteric wisdom that many claim was never lost, but merely hidden away and utilized by wizards and sorcerers throughout the ages. Some writers and researchers maintain that there has been a secret brotherhood who has moved in the shadows for millenia and is in firm control of religion, governments and industry. Is there any truth to this assertion?

Nick's latest poem is entitled "The Scarlet Council", which he will be reading as an introduction to this fascinating subject. He'll be exploring the writings of a number of scholars and teachers including Hermes Mercurius Trismigestus, Manly P. Hall and the famed Enoch to determine whether there is any basis to these claims of a secret dark brotherhood, who has allegedly been controlling events from the shadows. If so, is it possible that there is another brotherhood aligned to the Light, which has been working behind the scenes to thwart their efforts? What is the "end game" for these groups, if they exist?
