One thing that I have learned is that the KJV is the pure Word of God. One litmus test that I use is by checking I Corinthians 7:5 in whatever Bible version I am using to my KJV. 99.9% of the Bibles that man has tinkered with have removed the word "fasting" from that scripture. I am striving to believe the Bible and we are warned in Revelation that whosoever takes away from the Word of God has their name taken out of the Book of Life and if anyone adds to the Word then the plagues are added to them... You probably already realized this in your quest. :-)
