Hello Everyone-
Today was exciting for many reasons…FIRST I got to alternate between 3 different callers on different lines on the switchboard AND I didn’t hang up on anyone. Seriously, I’m getting the hang of this! Whoo hoooo….the sky’s the limit now folks!
Our guest(s) today were the brains behind GetGREEN Music (www.getgreenmusic.org). We got to speak with Emily (marketing), Sean (one of the founders) and Mark (another founder). All contributed to the program with the start of the company in January of 2009 to how far they’ve grown in these short months. GetGREEN Music is a hybrid of Facebook and iTunes all wrapped into one funky, easy to navigate site.
Here you can be eco-friendly by downloading your music (they feature GREEN artists!) AND videos from all of your favorite artists, read blogs by the GetGREEN staff and other site members, stay up-to-date on a variety of music events and festivals AND become involved in a social networking site to connect with others of similar interests.
You can download your profile, start a blog or a discussion to be more involved with other environmentally-minded folks! What a great concept! AND GetGREEN Music is partnering up with various eco-friendly organizations to donate proceeds to to “pay it forward”. Definitely check out their site and support their efforts!
