In light of recent racial events, protests, & Police brutality incidents, a lot of African-Americans are refocusing on ways to build the community. Part of that journey requires self-reflection. In that self-reflection, many black people are looking at ways to support more black owned businesses and even protest those who have exploited the black dollar but left Black People for dead. This includes the Black Hollywood Community who often plays apart in how people of color are perceived through film, music and other forms of entertainment. More Black People are calling on Black entertainers to not be silent but take a stand.  This week, there was controversy when Michael Jordan spoke on political issues for the first time after years of silence. Some People feel Jordan did this because he was worried about his brand and may be concerned about people turning against him. Others were just glad he spoke and felt his voice was needed in the discussion.  No matter where you fall in this discussion, it is a great time to reflect on the subject. So this week the CCShow is asking you, do you feel exploited by certain Black Celebrities? Even Black Women feel exploitation of their dollars from certain black male entertainers who will market to them, take their dollars but in reality dislike Black Women. We will talk about this and a whole lot more on the CCShow Sat @ 11:30 AM CST.
