Conversation with Caribbean Diaspora

Out of many, One! We are a rich people, culturally diversed, but geographically, unified. Historically, through Colonialism, Paternalism and Imperialism, we have amass a beautifully complex, but painful story. Who better to tell our "Truths", but you and me, US! And as living "documents", we have a duty and a right to pass on our stories, to our children, in hopes of sharing our mutual struggles and joys, so they can pass it on to their children, building a strong foundation of our past, as we dance on into our future! This show is dedicated to the complex, but compelling stories of our lives, as Caribbean people! As a Jamaican, while living and traveling around the world, I learned first hand that our Culture, Food, Music,  History and Spirit inspires people from many facets of life. However, the Poverty, Violence, Political, Historical and Overly sexualize and Mysgonistic images, has also given room for critizism. This is what we, you and me, need to talk about. Let's learn, inspire, challenge and celebrate all of who are as Caribbean people.
