Is God on your side, or the Devil? Neither God or the Devil are identified in the scriptures as real persons, but mighty deeds are allotted to these sensational characters, which one of them do you believe works for you? Showing God is for you, Isaiah 40:1 says; COMFORT you my people, says your God, speak comfortably to Jerusalem. Then St. Paul reminds us in Romans 8:31, If God be for us, who can be against us. Again St. Paul prays in Ephesians 1:17-18; that Christ may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened. However the Devil is people's greatest hero of goodness in the scripture, as seen in Genesis 2: 4-7 he gives human knowledge that last forever.
