8-8:45pm Carl Meeks is an original, Cultural, Reggae, Dancehall singer with a "Sing J" style. Carl has a unique slur that identifies him, whenever you hear it you know it's Carl Meeks. Carl followed sound systems like Youthman Promotion, Stereo Mars, Jah Love and Stereo Gav just to name a few. Carl’s favorite singer was Dennis Brown. Carl won second place in Taste Talent Contest. At the time, this was the biggest talent shows in Jamaica .

I grew up listening to artist like Bob Marley, jimmy cliff, Barrington levy,& Peter Tosh who pave the way .HE see that the world is in a crisis and it's only reggae music can revive the people to consciousness so i will be forever loving Jah & carry on Jah great works.

I have been volunteering for five years with Habitat for Humanity helping to rebuild New Orleans and ississippi Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina. My first Mission trip to Brazil...I found my purpose...to be a blessing to others and I never looked back!!! The vision that Jah has given me is to take my gift to the next level...to build homes and schools in the hills of Jamaica.
