Dr. Silverman graduated from medical school and simultaneously completed a doctorate in microbiology at the State University of New York in Buffalo, NY. Dr Silverman then completed a year of medical internship at the University of Michigan. Dr. Silverman was selected to serve as a research associate at the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health. He then completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at McGill University in Montreal Canada. Dr. Silverman served as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas in San Antonio. He developed a keen interest in reproductive health issues and decided to pursue sub specialty training in reproductive endocrinology.
