Reggae Entertainer and Producer Damas who has been creating havoc across Europe with the release of his “Rasta Universal Love” music video, is now set to be signed to Golden Note Records.

The upcoming reggae icon Damas have been working over the years among some of the most established artist out of Jamaica and across Europe including the likes of Marcia Griffits, Lee Scratch Perry and Gentleman - has now chosen to work with Golden Note Records to release his first official solo album yet to be named, which is due for release later this year. “Damas is an entertainer, a performer and a musical artist in every sense of the word. He creates Caribbean Hip Hop, Reggae Dancehall and Pop blended together perfectly to create the signature Damas Sound. We are very pleased to be working with Damas and are looking forward to a long and successful relationship”.

Richard 'Richie Innocent' Robinson, the 'DJ Poet' from Santa Cruz, St Elizabeth.,born in Kingstonin 1973. “I would hide away from school because I could not read." He loved poems; could recite, but couldn't read them.  "I was hearing the poems and loving the poems, when I discovered I could read, I started writing for myself." Richie was influenced by Louise Bennett Coverley and Evan Jones ('Song of the Banana Man').  Richie teacher Mrs Cornwall challenged the class to put music to the very popular poem and that's when Richie life in the music business took off.
