Table Talk airs every Saturday at 10 a.m. ET (9 a.m. CT, 7 a.m. PT). Denise interviews those who care for a family member or friend.

This Saturday, Pam Thorson joins Denise to share her caregiving story. Pam is a licensed practical nurse, author, speaker, and full-time caregiver. She and her husband of nearly 42 years have five children and two grandchildren. Pam pioneered in the homeschooling movement in Idaho from 1982-2006. She has cared for their quadriplegic son since his injury in 1997. Her first book, Song in the Night, is the true account of her son’s fight for life after a devastating spinal cord injury. Her second book, Out from the Shadows: 31 Devotions for the Weary Caregiver, is set for release March 28 of this year by Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas.
