The jobless rate is as it's highest rate in more than 25 years. It is expected to go higher before things start turning around in another year. Are you ging to wait for the turnaround before ou decide to change how you look at a job. During a down economy people are more likely to take a chance and start their own business. When the economy is good people want to take the safe route and get a job working for someone else. During this down economy you have more options available to you for employment. You just have to look for something you have a passion for and is there a company selling that product or service who has an affiliate program where you can earn an income helping them sell their products. If you want your own business but need assistance growin yr business look at network marketing or Multilevel Marketing. There are so many companies that sell their products through MLM to help them cut their marketing budget and allos them to put more into product development. When you sell a product you have a passion for or believe you are helping others then it is not work, its fun. MLM allows you to be in business without being by yourself since your upline wants to help you be successful since it helps them increase their income as well. Learning to read people and build strong relationships and sales. While working from home you don't have to have a big overhead in expenses. When you have a brick and mortar store you have to have half a million dollars to cover your expenses and depend on foot traffic to buy if you don't have a high budget for advertising. We are a product of the home we come from but we are also controlled by our thoughts about ourselves. We can learn to build self confidence through learning tro change our negative thoughts to positive one's through affirmations. The only way I know to demonstrate this is to tell you my personal story of how I turned my personal negatives to positive one's. In Psychodrama you get to create your own script to act out and verbalize thoughts so you can get beyound what is holding you back from succeeding. In Transactional Analysis you write a contract with yourself to turn your negatives into positives and set dates of when you expect to achieve those personal goals. Negative feeling about ourselves sabatoge our finding personal growth and self esteem. There was a book called Scripts People Live where it tells us how to rescript our personal thoughts and affirmations to build our self esteem. When you look at the cultures our ancesters come from and their early experiences, they passed along those traditions to subsequent generations. It's like when a child fears a strom not because of his personal experiences but because a parent feared the storm due to their experiences. The Nature/Nurture theory. As young children we are open and accepting, it is only later after we learn what fear is that we let it take over our lives develop unrealistic fears. The reason this is important because it holds us back from doing the things we love to do or finding success in our professional lives. A lot of people have problems networking to grow a business both offline and online. There are many forms of networking using the Internet. No one knows everything when they first get started so its a learning process. There are a lot of social site you can use to build networks online--Twitter, Facebook, My Space, Ning--you can set up your own social site on any topic, yahoo, google, ECT. These are formds of Internet Marketing which also play into SEO. There are other mediums such as blogs, article writing articles, to become known as an expert on your topic. Do you know how to incorporate all these programs? Do you want to learn how? Offline you go to Chamber of Commerce meetings, association meetings such as rotary to learn leadership skills and networking. Being able to walk up to someone shaking their hand, introducing yourself and giving a 1 minute elevator story about yourself is an art that not everyone can do.
