LIVE WITHOUT LIMITS

I grew up with a disability, was educated and employed before there were laws on the books guaranteeing people with disabilities these rights. I grew up in a dyfunctional family where there was physical, emotional, and verbal abuse. I grew up have low self esteem. I turned things around for myself by studying both Mental Health, Psychology, and reading self- help books. Because IDEA became law when I was in graduate school, my teachers didn't understand that CP affects how the brain processes information and that I learn differently. I entered the workforce 12 years before ADA became law and since I couldn't find gainful employment I started my own business. Because of where the economy is now people are where I was 25 years ago. That's what makes me an expert on my topic. I have an AAS in Mental Health, BS in Psychology, credits towards MS in Rehabilitation Counseling. I'm a distributor with InScape Publishing and use their assessment profiles to help clients understand their behavioral styles in communication, working in teams, leadership, listening, learning, time management, diversity, dealing with stress, sales, and managing people, so you can reach your maximum potential in life and learn to Live Without Limits.

There are many strategies to building relationships and sales. Think about giving away something as a gift such as an E-Book if it fits your niche. This helps you build your list of potential cutomers--you build your list with a lead capture page since everyone has to leave their name and address to get the free download. Just remember this is a strategy everyone is using so don't send emails 3-4 times a day because then it becomes spam. Once a week or once in two weeks keeps your name in front of them. You also want to give them a tip that they can use so they look for your emails. For instance, as an Inscape Publishing distributor, I was on a conference call and they were talking about awebsite called the Universe who sends out daily emails M-F, with an uplifting paragraph. I look forward to these emails. Then again, Internet Marketers send me emails 3-4-5 times a day with a free download leading to the same capture page. This means I end up with more than 200 emails to read a day. I don't even open these emails I just delete them and have now started unsubscribing to them and would never buy anything from them. So the best way to build a strong relationship is to offer something to your customer they can use. This builds a strong relationship. Another form of building a strong relationship is understanding your different communication styles and talking in thier language. People who can benefits from this show are entrepreneurs and coaches.

Understanding your behavioral style and how you communicate helps you succeed in life

I use a Personal Profile System as an assessment tool with clients.  You can take this profile our online EPIC which also generates reports that can be used to coach clients to change their mindset to a more positive one.  There are four classic behavioral patterns used to explain how you communicate in your natural pattern.  These patterns are:

Dominance: this person is dominant, strong-willed and forceful
Influence: this person is sociable, talkative, and lively
Steadiness: this person is gentle, accommodating, and softhearted
Conscientiousness: this person is private, analytical, and logical

We all have these behavior patterns within us but some are more dominant than others in our on natural behavior patterns in which we feel most comfortable.  My taking the PPS you get a sense of what your strengths and weaknesses are.  There are eight scales upon which you can score and here are some of them and how you present yourself to someone else in your communication style.

D measures a direct, dominant this position using adjectives such as aggressive, strong-willed, and forceful
Di measures an active fast-paced disposition using adjectives such as a dynamic, adventurous, and bold
i measures an interactive, influencing disposition using adjectives such as is sociable, lively, and talkative
iS measures and agreeable, warm disposition using adjectives such as trusting, cheerful, and catering

S measures an steady, accommodating a disposition using adjectives such as considerate, gentle, and soft-hearted
SC measures at a moderate-paced, cautious disposition using adjectives such as careful, soft-spoken, and self-controlled
C measures a private, conscientiousness disposition using adjectives such as analytical, reserved, and unemotional.

As you can see this is why it is important to understand how you communicate when you are talking to others.  We have all of these behavior patterns within us but some people are naturally outspoken and others are reserved.  In almost every situation you were involved in if you understand these behavior patterns it will help you to read other people and be able to communicate with them in a language they understand.  Because if you're a natural behavior patterns is to be someone who is a D orbehavior pattern then you are fast-paced and are not very detailed in your description.  Then when speaking to someone who has an S or C behavior patterns then they will be questioning you a bout the product because they want more detail or vice versa when communicating in a sales position.  That's why it's very important that you understand how you communicate in any given situation.
