CannabisTimesRadio.com discusses the issue of Measure M this week. Measure M is one of 10 ballot measures on the March 8th, 2011 City of Los Angeles Ballot. If approved by voters, the measure will impose a $50 business tax per $1,000 of gross receipts at each marijuana dispensary in the city.

Bill Leahy has been a resident and print shop owner in the Los Angeles area for 30 years. Being a patient and activist, Bill sold his company and joined The Farmacy collective as general manager in 2006. In 2007, Bill assisted in the development of The Farmacy Westwood and The Farmacy Venice. Today Bill is the general manager of The Farmacy West Hollywood as well as the public and regulatory liaison for all three Farmacy collectives.
Mr. Leahy's activism has put him into the limelight on many national programs regarding Medical Marijuana. Bill's leadership on a local level include the West Hollywood East Pak Community Group, the West LA Chamber of Commerce, and many other advisory groups. He presently serves on the Steering committee of GLACA (Greater Los Angeles Collective Alliance); Los Angeles' foremost organization for the standardization and accreditation for Medical Marijuana dispensaries.
