Ladessa Sullivan A.K.A The Artist Known As CandyAcidReign is a completely self taught, professional Poet, Painter, Fine Graphic Artist, Web Designer, Guitarist, Singer, Songwriter, Producer, and all around creative spirit that dabbles in most artistic crafts including jewelry making, crocheting & sewing. She is the Founder of The Verbal Artist, which is a very talented & prolific collective of Poets that began in 2004 and has now spun off into a NEW social network for artist of ALL kind. Many amazing poets and artist have since spawned out of her initial vision & mentoring hand, and have gone on to do great things along their journey, and CandyAcidReign is no exception. Born in San Francisco California on June 19th 1978, Ladessa began writing, drawing, singing and song writing no later than the age of 9 yrs old, possibly much earlier. She has since written hundreds of poems, mentored poets from all across the country and around the world, inspiring others with her humility, charm, ability to create from a spiritual place, her freedom, encouragement to create outside of all boxes, her love for helping others, motivation, ambition, and absolute unconditional love for all of the crafts. Currently, Ladessa has many projects in motion. Juggling her many crafts has been her claim to Reign. She is currently shopping around her beautiful collection of work "Life is Like CandyAcidReign" to publishing companies till she finds a contract she is willing to sign. She is also producing and performing some of her work to share with the spoken word community in MP3 format. Recently, (January 31st) CandyAcidReign was interviewed and featured on Freedom Verse Café.
