Have you seen enough of the promos for "The Summer's Biggest Event"? And barely a mention of TakeOver? Par for the course in Vince's world.

Barclay's Center in Brooklyn will host both SummerSlam on Sunday, August 19 and TakeOver Brooklyn 4 on Saturday, August 18 for the fourth year in a row. As usual, the difference in length and promotion demonstrate more than just priorities for the company. The NXT event has five matches involving all four belts plus one to simply entertain the fans. Is the card almost a re-run of the NXT UK spectacle? Well, yes it is. Including the pre-show it is scheduled for 3 1/2 hours total. Seems to be the limit of reasonable scheduling, right? Well...Summerslam is scheduled for THIRTEEN matches including three (for two belts) in the pre-show. How long is this extravaganza scheduled to run? Including the pre-show 6 1/2 hours. WrestleMania territory.

What shall The Smarks focus on with so much material to cover? The matches, of course. Including whether they will suck or not because some definitely will. Count on it. But also expect comment on the sheer length of Sunday's card and the point or lack thereof regarding some of the bookings. We will also give some reflection on the passing of Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. A true legend over the last 40 years in sports entertainment.
