October 19, 2015. General election day in Canada. The list of offenses and overstepping authority from the Harper government is long and ever growing. A million issues and even more complaints. One of the more consistent complaints is the never ending assault on the digital rights of Canadians.

OpenMedia.ca was established in 2008 and has led the fight to protect the rights of Canadian internet users. Over 250,000 of us contributed to the Our Digital Future policy. It is all encompassing and detailed. There is a vote pledge that signifies that Canadians are aware of the abuses in the digital realm by the Harper government and there are some questions that all candidates should be forced to answer before getting our votes.

David Christopher from OpenMedia.ca joins us once more to describe the massive amount of work it took to develop the Our Digital Future policy and how Canadians can get involved. There are five principles to the Declaration of Internet Freedom. Expression. Access. Openness. Innovation. Privacy. Numerous pieces of dubious legislation like C-13, C-51, S-4 and S-8 have come down the line from this CPC crowd. Be informed and know how to counteract them and help prevent the loss of our Charter Rights and Freedoms.
