I AM BACK. It is nearly one year ago that The View Up Here started, so there is no better time to return with a burr in my saddle for Season 3. As usual, the propaganda, spin and flat out lies continue unabated from the Corporate Pacification Committee and their loyal talking heads. Ministers continue to lie to the press. Parliamentary Secretaries continue to lie in the House. And the corporate media continues to lie to everyone.

Mike Duffy is front and centre in an Ottawa courtroom facing 31 counts. He promises to take everyone down with him. Alrighty then. So far the trial has had some revelations but has mostly been a huge distraction while Emperor continues to hammer through more illegal legislation like C-51. But the best has yet to come, that is guaranteed. Let's review and speculate on the whole filthy circus.

English Bay in Vancouver has become the latest laboratory for failed doctrine, failed protocols and failed propaganda with the spill of bunker fuel in Canada's busiest and most beautiful port. Lackeys like the ever-pompous James Moore continue to prove hypocrisy is indeed an art form. Mayor Gregor Robertson and Premier Barbie are getting good mileage from the seeming circus of conflicting information and actions. Will this be enough for British Columbians to finally be ready to jettison the CPC?

Don Dunphy was a Newfoundlander that personified many of the traits associated with people from The Rock. Open, opinionated, original and determined. Steadfast in his determination to improve things for injured workers at home and everywhere else. His life was ended on Easter Sunday by a lone member of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in his own home. The calls for transparency and an inquiry into his death are getting louder as the government appeals for calm and due process. Let's see what the "evidence" shows so far. Rest In Peace @sculpen.

Plus whatever else, plus overtime.
