Madison started his career in the music business helping out Neo Soul Artist PRU when she left her Major Record Label, doing P.R. and with his passion for music Madison Media was formed. Madison Media branched out to form there online magazine were they feature Music and Fitness Artist and they have a Radio Show called "Music with a Purpose" were Indie, Unsign & Major Label Artists come to be interviewed & have there Music featured on our show .

Ishmael Muhammad was born in the winter of 1982 Southside Chicago.Through writing music and performing in the streets Ishmael was given the name Ish-Illa because he was the best at what he did amongst the people he knew. In 2001 Ish-Illa moved to Los Angeles because he wanted to be more than what he was raised in, poverty, homelessness, and crime. He thought he could do that through his music in Los Angeles. After arriving in L.A. Ish-Illa lived on Skid Row and spent his time writing music and performing it on the streets. After some time he started performing outside popular night clubs.
