An Artist Speaks: Interview with John Longbow

An Artists Speaks will sit down with John Longbow. 

John Longbow is of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations.  Born in California, John currently lives in New Mexico with his wife.  John began playing the clarinet in elementary school, which eventual led to the guitar in High School.  While in high school his curiosity of the construction of guitars, led him to designing, building and ornamentalizing guitars.  His strong artistic urge was encouraged through this process.  John followed his passion of art, music and instrument construction in college where he graduated with a BA degree in music.   John first began photography manipulation while on the road playing music.   He has perfected the process of image manipulation and we will be discussing this today.  John currently owns a guitar manufacturing business, plays the guitar as well as continuing with his artwork.
