The destinations, if you really think about it, are quite simply: Freedom!  Freedom from slaveryFreedom from dis-easeFreedom from povertyFreedom from loneliness All journeys lead to freedom and the sooner you understand this most important reality, the sooner you'll see the Brilliance in the hard work you'll face and why it is worth so much.  What price Freedom?  Less TV, No cake for a month, exercise on a regular basis, monitoring your ovulatory cycle, etc., it all is worth it.  What journey are you or do you need to take?  Do you think it is any less difficult than the journey depicted in the trailer above?  If the journey is not difficult, maybe it is not actually a journey.  Maybe it is merely a day dream that you don't really care about.  All journeys require sacrifice, but if the freedom is worth it to you, the sacrifices will be gladly relinquished. Join me on Christmas Eve when one of the most well-known spiritual journeys took place with some wise men of Olde.  00:31:00Bring Your Own BrilliancenoJourney,Underground Railroad,The Three Wise Men,Christmas,The Star of DavidBrilliance exists in journeys, any journey that frees your spirit.  The following trailer is from the incredible movie: The Way Back (2010) directed by Peter WeFeeding Your Brilliancehttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/byo-brilliance/2013/12/17/feeding-your-brillianceLifestylehttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/byo-brilliance/2013/12/17/feeding-your-brilliance/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/byo-brilliance/2013/12/17/feeding-your-brillianceTue, 17 Dec 2013 17:00:00 GMTFeeding Your BrillianceAlthough we all begin our lives with Brilliance, like most things in life that we hope will grow strong and expand, we need to foster that growth. We fuel our bodies, brains, relationships, and spirituality among many other aspects in life to sustain them. Brilliance blooms under similar nurturing type activities.  What we eat, who we spend time with, the places our body and spirit connect with feeds our Brilliance.  Most of know that our bank accounts fare much better if we put more in than we take out.  I am not suggesting that you not share your Brilliance, but to replenish it and often to help it shine brighter! Some key fuel points are: Stillness/tranquility (Seek it regularly!)Natural fresh foods (They increase your immune system by sharing the earth's spirit)Joy & laughter (Find something to smile about at least 3x a day!)Honoring Your thoughts (Avoid second guessing yourself)Seeking holistic balance (Not suggesting you  join a monastery)Cook & Imbibe in something fun and the delectiable; it polishes Brilliance if dingyRead or listen to uplifting words/sounds/wisdomRemind yourself you are Brilliance with every reflection (Out loud or silently!) Sometimes Brilliance requires a moment to step back from our daily activities to help it bloom.  Take a day to honor your voice; let it rest part of the day.  Take a digestive vacation a few hours or days by fasting. if you find yourself feeling out of sorts or start believing Brilliance has passed you by, take a break.  However that break manifests for you, enjoy every second as you remind your Brilliance it always has the ability to shine.  Join me for a little Brilliance!  I look forward to watching yours shine!    *artwork by Qwaisius Shaun Peterson   00:31:00Bring Your Own BrilliancenoNatural foods,Fasting,Tranquility,Stillness,Honoring your thoughtsAlthough we all begin our lives with Brilliance, like most things in life that we hope will grow strong and expand, we need to foster that growth. The brilliance we all have, the shine that illuminates our souls and beings rests quite naturally with Lydia and I look forward to her sharing her brilliance with us!  Join me for an ilumnating moment of love with Lydia Pellow!  00:31:00Bring Your Own BrilliancenoPottery,Skydiving,Manifesting,Learning to Love,Living Life to the fullest potentialLydia Pellow is an extraordinary person with great artistic insight!  She creates spirtually infused pottery with the most beautiful designs.  She has inspiredThe Brilliance of Eleanor Roosevelt: Ambassador of Social Changehttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/byo-brilliance/2013/11/12/the-brilliance-of-eleanor-roosevelt-ambassador-of-social-changeLifestylehttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/byo-brilliance/2013/11/12/the-brilliance-of-eleanor-roosevelt-ambassador-of-social-change/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/byo-brilliance/2013/11/12/the-brilliance-of-eleanor-roosevelt-ambassador-of-social-changeTue, 12 Nov 2013 17:00:00 GMTThe Brilliance of Eleanor Roosevelt: Ambassador of Social ChangeAnna Eleanor Roosevelt, although born in an affluent family, had the distinction of being considered the "Ugly Duckling" of the family, compounded by the loss of her parents at an early age.  Still, her Brilliance remained. Yet they are the world of the individual person; the neighborhood he lives in; the school or college he attends; the factory, farm, or office where he works.  Such are the places where every man,  woman, and child seeks equal justice, equal opportunity, equal dignity without discrimination. Join me to find out the first step to Brilliance. It's a pretty big step despite the simplicity of it.  Here are some questions to ask yourself: 1. What is the one thing that everyone needs, can't seem to get enough of, yet is constantly plentiful? 2. What do you seek from those closest to you, but for which you may be too fearful to ask? 3. (Trick Question) What made the Grinch's heart grow 3 sizes that day? (Only the very advanced may have the answer to this one!)
