Blanche Williams’ passion for building leadership in our next generation inspired her to establish the National Black Women’s Town Hall, Inc. (NBWTH), in 2008, a non-profit inter-generational think-tank convening meaningful conversations.  It was established as an extension of her National XM Radio Talk Show, Greatness By Design, and its groundbreaking series, Race and Gender in our Nation and the National Women's Town Hall Meeting.  In addition she interviewed some of the world's most fascinating people including Dr. Maya Angelou, Patti LaBelle, Kerry Washington, Quincy Jones, Iyanla Vanzant, and others. She covered the nomination of Barack Obama as well as front row coverage of the Inauguration of President Barack Obama.

Williams was invited to the Obama's first Holiday Reception in December 2008 followed by a special invitation from First Lady Michelle Obama to a special screening of Tyler Perry's "For Colored Girls."  She was one of 30 female leaders invited from around the country.

Williams is CEO of Greatness By Design, LLC, a leadership expert, speaker, corporate trainer, coach, professor and writer.  Other career highlights include development of a Leadership Institute for Prince George's County/MD private school, worked with the Clinton Administration on the historic Western Hemispheric Summit in Miami, Mayoral appointee to Metro-Dade County Community Relations Board (CRB), Small Business Incubator Director for the Center for Technology, Enterprise and Development, Inc.(T.E.D. Center),and  United Nations Speaker in Istanbul, Turkey.

She holds a Masters in Leadership, with honors, from Nova Southeastern University School of Business and Entrepreneurship and a BA in Communication Studies from University of Maryland University College.
