BWR is finally back with all new shows for the new year. It started off with a bang with fan favorite, Kassie DePaiva, who plays Blair Cramer on ABC Daytime's, "One Life to Live." Very down to earth and fun, Kassie made BWR a fun-filled show for the jam-packed hour. I agree with everyone of what her fans had to say to me, she really loves them, and without the fans, it would be nothing. I say that about my show and the listeners. I appreciate the fans, and I would not be doing this but for them. I love what I do, but I also love doing this for the fans as well. We took many phone calls during the evening, and it was such a pleasure to hear what the fans had to say. The first part of the questions had to deal with the making of her latest CD. For those that do not know, Kassie also is a singer. She has just released her third album, entitled, "I Want to Love You." If you haven't heard this CD, make sure to check it out. Her latest single, "Too Little," is #84 on the country music charts, and you can get her CD at iTunes, Amazon, and Wal-Mart. She described that what went into the album was songs that described something for every woman...basically something that reaches out to each and everyone of those who listens to her songs, and I loved that. Those kind of responses shows to me how geniune a person is, and how much she listens to her fans as well. That is truly....overall the interview was nothing but a class act. You know, it was a switch when she turned it around and started to interview me. That was funny...I got put on the spot when she asked, "Do you fast forward stuff?" What was I to say? LOL, I am pretty sure everyone does it, but I was honest, I don't FF through anything on One Life at the moment because the material on the show right now is absolutely amazing that there is no need to FF. Kassie has this amazing sense of humor, and she just joked about FF through everything but her own material....and the fact that she turns into a pumpkin. You don't know what I am talking about? Listen to the show LOL...just like she cracked on me about checking her bio out. I was like, "Damn, she caught me." And for those of you who want to know about Todd and Blair....just know they are gonna work on their relationship....and Blair will have a hard time adjusting to Sam, Todd's baby with Margaret. That is all she will release. We had a very emotional call that night that took place at the end of the program. This person had tried to call in earlier, but we lost the call, and I didn't remember who it was, and I just picked who was going to be the last caller of the evening. I was amazed that it was her again. One of the listeners, who is a best friend of mine, said that it possibly was fate that happened. I don't question it, I just go with it. Her name was Maggie, and she's handicapped, and she just loves Kassie, and it was so touching to hear her speak with her. I almost cried like a little girl when she was on, because we gave someone the chance to speak to one of their favorite actresses who felt they never would have gotten the chance to ever speak with them, and it just made my night happier that we could make her dream, at least one of them, come true. I think I almost fell out with emotion when she asked for Kassie's phone number. That was cute, but also saddened me, in ways. I cannot explain it, but that is what happened to me. It was just an amazing show, and I think I will never forget it for the rest of my life. I just have to say thank you to the fans/listeners who tuned in and always tune in to BWR. I don't think I would be here if it weren't for them, and I just love what I do. I want to say thanks to Matt for being an amazing co-host, and I couldn't possibly see myself hosting the show alone. And thanks goes out to all the callers we had that made the show very much fun and enjoyable. From Sharon, Adam, Maggie, and more, it was just a great show. And most of all, we got to thank Ms. Kassie DePaiva for taking time out of her busy schedule to sit down with us for an hour and chat it up! She is such a delight, she's fun, sweet, and a true class act! BWR would love to be graced with her presence again, most definitely! We have an amazing week of shows coming up with many guest stars, so make sure to tune in for that, and we will be back Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 10 pm eastern with a brand new show with guest star, Daniel McVicar, from CBS Daytime's, "The Bold and the Beautiful."
