    DR. BLOGSTEIN INTERVIEW RECAP!

Wassup everyone! BWR had another amazing show this past Thursday when we were joined by BlogTalkRadio's own Dr. Blogstein. He hosts the infamous, "Radio Happy Hour," which can be heard every Tuesday night at 9 PM EST at blogtalkradio.com.

I have to say it was an eventful evening. There weren't really any specific topics at hand, and we just ran with it. In my honest opinion, the show seemed to fit very well for the guest: complete randomness and having a good time. Many of the listeners thought it was an interesting evening, especially w/ Doc interviewing us instead of the other way around. I must say, it may have tanked w/o Bloggy. LOL!

I honestly have no idea what it is, but he is just so dysfunctionally hyper, that you can't help but laugh. Especially when he told Matt to listen to his show now that he has all the free time in the world since he lost his job....if you can make fun over something like that, you can make fun of anything. Lord, I think my show will get beat upon when he comes back to air in January. I better be there for that one.

I was kind of surprised that the conversation went as far as it did with me saying over the air exactly why I left my previous show from BlogTalkRadio, "In the Zone." To say I was entitled to say this over the air is one thing, but it just seemed like I finally was able to tell my side of things to those listeners who were wondering what exactly caused me to relinquish control of another show I created to the co-host. The doc really worked his magic on that one.

I tried to take on this one caller, yes O, I am speaking to you LOL, and I missed out on the first shot, so I tried to get her on again. You know, the best way to let someone know we have a caller when they are on a rant is to not talk over them like I did, but tell them to shut up. Ha, even Doc tried to get the caller on. I had to have outside help. Now, that's bad. But, I have to say it is all in good fun.

Doc also mentioned about the guests he has had on his show. I can't get over some of those he had. From celebs, he has had on Warren G, Countess Vaughn who played Kim on both UPN shows, "Moesha," and "The Parkers." Recently, he had on Shirley McClaine to promote her new book, and this past Tuesday, he had on Bonnie "Eyez" Mercado from Season 2 of VH1's, "Flavor of Love." Eyez's daughter stole the show more than Eyez did. What really threw me was a guest he had on his show....a husband who claimed his wife tried to murder him. Seriously, I thought those type of guests would appear only on Oprah. Only being on BTR since February 2007, the show has already become one the most popular shows on the Internet and on iTunes.

"Radio Happy Hour" can be heard every Tuesday night, 9 PM EST at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/drblogstein. On Christmas and New Years Day, he will be having special shows that the fans have requested as their favorite moments in 2007. Be sure to check out the year in review, and tune back in for an original show January 8, 2008! Also, check out his website at www.drblogstein.com. One of the most funniest guests to have on for our final show of 2007, Dr. Blogstein was awesome, and we love to have him back on again. Maybe then, we can ask him more questions instead of asking us the stuff LOL.

Dr. Blogstein

This was a very nice write up. Thank you. I had fun on your show, pretty much because I turned it into my show--pure chaos. You're a fun crew. Happy New Year!
