KELLY SULLIVAN of ABC's GENERAL HOSPITAL!

Kelly Sullivan plays the role of Kate Howard on ABC Daytime's GENERAL HOSPITAL! Port Charles mobster Sonny Corinthos and fashion magazine editor Kate Howard return to the old neighborhood of Bensonhurst.  As they visit old haunts – including Sonny’s childhood home – during the holiday season, the couple reminisce of their lives “back in the day” and try to move forward with rekindling their relationship… but find there are some huge obstacles in their way… will they be able to overcome them and fall in love again?

Kelly joined the cast of General Hospital in September 2011 as fashionista and magazine editor Kate Howard who’s ties run deep with family from the “old neighborhood” including Sonny and Olivia.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Kelly grew up dancing in ballet companies and singing in school choirs.  In high school, she garnered awards and accolades for her voice, earning her a full scholarship to Arizona State University, where she graduated with honors.  Upon graduation in 2000, she moved to New York City to pursue her dream of performing on Broadway.  Over the past 11 years, she has worked extensively on and off Broadway, regionally, and in Europe.  Her television credits include “One Life to Live,” “As The World Turns” and “Law and Order.”
