GH's MAURICE BENARD!

Maurice Benard, who plays the role of Sonny Corinthos on ABC Daytime's General Hospital, makes an exclusive appearance on BuzzWorthy Radio this week! First breaking into the daytime scene as Nico Kelly on All My Children, Benard took on the role of Sonny Corinthos in 1993. Initially leaving the show in 1997, he found his way back to Port Charles a year later. IN 2003, Benard won his first Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. In one of the most talked about storylines that is happening on GH right now is the Dante/Sonny storyline for February sweeps. Benard promises that this storyline will have reprecussions for months to come outside of February sweeps! Hear what it is like working with daytime newcomer Dominic Zamprogna, a chance to see Carly/Sonny possibly interacting, as well as if he will indeed submit himself for the Emmys this year!
