DETERMINATION IN SPITE OF SITUATIONS

Butterfly Evolution and Author/Fourth Grade Teacher Rodney Jordan invite you to encourage a middle or high school student to participate in the writing competition:

“Determination In Spite of Situations Essay Competition.” - Special Guest: Mr. Joseph “Gabe” Sonnier – Janitor to Principal shared his story with the world and now is sharing it on the Butterfly Evolution Radio Show. The personal and professional journey of Mr. Sonnier is guaranteed to motivate and empower you and your students. We challenge you to spread the word in your classrooms, schools, and communities. 

THE COMPETITION:  Each student will be required to listen to the show on Monday March 17th at 7PM CST or tune in to the archived show.  Each student will write a two page report expressing what he/she learned and how they will apply it to their own lives. 

One middle school student (grades 6-8) and one high school student (grades 9-12) will be awarded a $$CASH PRIZE. In addition, both winners will appear as guests on the Butterfly Evolution Show to discuss what he/she learned from the experience and also featured on the Change The World Blog.  Parental Consent forms are required.  All states and schools are eligible and are encouraged to participate. Students will have until 11:00 p.m. CST Monday, March 24th 2014 to submit their entries; NO EXCEPTIONS!
