My Interview Concerning Vereconference and Web Conferencing Systems

Interview About Web Conferencing, Web Conferencing Software and Vereconference

I had an interview with a very nice gentleman who owns a highly recognized online business owners website called PeopleInTheKnow.com Bobby Ellis is a successful net entrepreneur who has been very successful since 1997. The interview was about Vereconference and the web conferencing industry.

    Here is the interview:

Today I introduce you to Butch Hamilton, an executive at Vereconference.com. Vereconference is the latest webcast provider to provide web conferencing using 100% VOIP. As the public adapts to the technology, web conferencing is becoming a viable option to reduce communication costs and barriers. Competitive advantage is about doing tasks faster, better, and quicker than their competitors. Vereconference is making this possible through reduced prices and restrictions. I had Butch answer 10 questions that explains his take on the internet communications industry.

Hi Butch. Thanks for participating in this call. Tell me about the new company Vereconferencing.com?

This company is owned and operated by Tom Prendergast and Mike Darling. The are also the owners of the Veretekk internet marketing training system. Tom has been a very big believer in the Vereconference system for many years.

I am a trainer for the Veretekk system, so I realize the power and validity of online training rooms. They are extremely cost effective and an excellent communications source, which is pararamount in the operation of a successful business.

Vereconference.com is a new powerful and reliable webconference system that uses Voice Over IP (internet protocol) to significantly reduce the cost hosting meetings regardless of location. Unlike other webconference companies such as WebEx and Placeware, our services are free to 3 users or less. In addition, it requires no teleconference service to communicate to conference attendees, thus there are no long distance charges or toll phone numbers to pay for outside of the web conference.

I know a lot of entrepreneurs who are using teleconferencing services to communicate their message, but you are bringing a new twist to it. Your company provides web conferencing. How is the public responding to it?

The public loves it. It's a service that can be used by any and everyone. From teachers tutoring students 100's of miles away to emergency medical trainers training potential EMS. I have even seen grandparents use it to communicate with their grandchildren living on the other side the nation. But, the primary client of the service is business owners. Our goal is to help businesses to communicate with their clients, partners, and vendors at minimum cost. I personally use the system twice a month to train people in search engine optimization.

Other bonuses includes benefits such as:

    1. These are no long distance charges.
    2. There is small piece of software to download.
    3. There are no phone lines needed.
    4. Broadband internet access not require, dial up Internet connections okay.
    5. All computer systems are compatible.
    6. There are training sessions available for Vereconference by simply going to Vereconference.com and viewing the online calendar. There is no charge for this service.

The site is completely scalable from 3 users serving small businesses, to 1000 users serving enterprise clients. There are corporate plans available on a per basis by contacting Tom Prendergast.

    1. White Boards – write, circle, highlight , etc.
    2. Push pages – put pages you want in front of audience
    3. Record the webconference – for playback for people who missed it.
    4. Upload Power Point –to use in conference.
    5. Load pages ahead of time – like a homepage
6.Change colors to match your corporate brand or colors.
    7. Use the conference as a back office solution.

Currently, there are some big companies out there offering the same services, but their prices squeezes the SMB owner out, thus preventing them from using this platform. How is Vereconferencing changing that?

Vereconferencing uses voice of internet protocol (VOIP) technology, thus the cost to our customers is low. Our price ranges from $11.95/mo for three users to $219.95/mo for one hundred users. There is a one time set up fee of twenty five dollars. What make Vereconference so different from our competitors is that there is no contract. A person can buy the service for three users one month and next month they can go up to 100 users to support that month objectives, and then back to three users again the following month. That's the type of flexibilities is unheard of in this industry.

I read on your website at Vereconference.com that your services are free to people who requires three lines or less. I think that's brilliant way to kick off the service. Is this for limited time only or until further notice?

Yes, that is true. A person can sign up for a conference room and use for up to 24 hours. If they need to use the room again, they just have to sign up again and they have another 24 hour s of use. We prefer to allow people to test drive it at no risk. We currently have no plans to end our free trial strategy.

So Butch, this is a test drive or sorts, right? Ok, I'm fine with that, but what if I wanted to expand my conference room to 10 ten people is that possible? What about 100 people, is that possible? Ok, can you service enterprise customers with a 1000 person conference room?

As I said before, the system is completely scalable. 10 users will cost you $29.95, a 100 users will cost you $219.95, while 1,000 users pricing is available on demand.

It seems to me you have a rock solid company that's changing the way people buys web conferencing. Are there any plans in the future to expand Vereconferencing in the future?

Not at this time. We want to focus on assisting others in going their business. It's all about building community and relationships with others. Vereconference is a very lucrative affiliate program as well. You simply signup for your own room, and promote the affiliate link provided.

Butch, I heard you are a master marketer is this true? What are some of thing you have done?

Yes, I am a master marketer. I specialize in SEO (search engine optimization). I help companies get top positions for their websites on Google, Yahoo, MSN, and all the other major search engines. A person web strategy should start with these five tasks.

    1. Buy a domain name.
    2. Build a simple search engine friendly website. No flash.
    3. Build site with good meta tag words.
    4. Properly Index site
    5. Properly Title the site

If you was going to give a business owner three marketing strategies that could really transform their business, what would it be?

    1. Write well written press releases to announce your site. A good source is free-pressrelease.com. The charge is very negligible as I opt in for the hyperlink function. You may purchase 40 press releases for only $20.00 which is an incredible value.

    2. Use Ezine's to such as ideamarkets.com, ezinearticles.com, and bestezine.com to submit are your articles published.

    3. Index Site to Google. Submit articles and press releases web addresses to Google.

On your site, I also see you offer an affiliate program. Can you tell me more about this program?

Yes, we do have an affiliate program. It is not like other programs. We want to reward people you refer us clients. A person a can learn more about our affiliate program by visiting vereconference.com and click on affiliate. I know you have seen some junk, unworthy affiliate programs, but our program is really something special. We pay our affiliates on the 10th of every month.

Okay Butch, has we come to an end, if a person wanted to sign up for a web conference room through Vereconferencing, how do they do that and how complicated is it?

A person can go to vereconference.com and sign up for a free conference room. They will receive a confirmation email in their inbox. Once they client on the link, their account is activated. They can log into their conference or back office to make any adjustments.

Butch, I want to thank you for time, I'm sure our viewers has learned some very valuable information. Is there anything else you would like to the peopleintheknow.com audience to know about Vereconferencing? Tom and Mike's view of Vereconference, and mine as well, is that it is poised very well to become a major player in web conferencing systems in the years to come. We are extremely please in the fact that we do not have to sell Vereconference. It is an amazing product, priced right, and in my estimation, it's the best communications tool you can buy.

I thought the interview went very well and I wanted to take just a moment to thank Bobby Ellis for his time in producing this interview about web conferencing and web conferencing software in Vereconference. You guys need to check out PeopleInTheKnow.com
