Doris Shannon, CEO of Coaching for Success Inc. is an executive success coach and human resources consultant from Atlanta Georgia. She has over twenty years’ experience consulting both internally and externally with business organizations through a myriad of transitions, from start-up to shutdowns.  During her corporate career, she served as a HR executive in a wide range of industries including financial services, manufacturing and communications.

Throughout her 30 year career, she has been preparing to be a purpose coach, as a human resources executive in corporate America. Now as an independent consultant and coach she coaches for success of individual and groups in the classroom to the boardroom.  

Doris earned her MBA through Georgia States University’s Executive MBA program in 1987. Doris Shannon is a highly experienced change agent, adjunct college professor, facilitator and coach. In the coaching community she has served on the board of directors of the Atlanta chapter of International Coaches Federation.  Doris was co-founder of the Atlanta chapter of the Black Professional Coach Association (BPCA).

Some of her certifications and Advance Training includes; The Coaches Training Institute CTI (San Rafael, California); The Graduate School of Coaching at the largest coach-training institute Coachville.com; Registered Corporate Coach in the World Association of Business Coaches; Retirement Coach certified by RetirementOptions.com to administer their Retirement Success Profile (RSP); MBTI & MMTIC assessment certification.
