Stephane Berwald, is an Associate with Lil Associates II, Inc. in Charlotte, NC a construction consulting firm that focuses on Diversity program implementation. She managed the Small Business Opportunity Program for the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and has overseen the diversity component for many projects at UNC Charlotte as well as, the City of Charlotte. Stephane provides education and development to the contracting community to increase knowledge of all Minority, Women, and Small Business Enterprises.
Stephane became the first female, and Native American to serve as the President of the Metrolina Minority Contractors Association (MMCA), in January 2011. The MMCA is a trade associated that was started nearly 25 years ago, and represents a wealth of knowledgeable business owners with collectively over 200+ years of construction experience. In today's, business climate there is a tremendous demand for professionals to operate effectively, efficiently, and cohesively. Their support services include, contract opportunities, training, advertising ,education, charitable, events, conferences, workshops, and tackling legislative issues, but our main focus is building a solid foundation for sustainability.
Stephane enjoys travel, and spending time with her family. She also serves as the administrative assistant at Green Oak Missionary Baptist Church as well as, the Secretary for local branch of the NAACP.
