  Nikki Pava - Founder of "EcoTuesday -The Sustainable Business Leaders Networking Forum"

  Nikki Pava is the Founder of EcoTuesday, the sustainable business leaders networking event that is sweeping the country. EcoTuesday began in February of 2007 in San Francisco and now takes place in seven cities each month, from Los Angeles to Detroit. Nikki's passion is to connect business owners and companies who develop products and services that have a positive impact on the planet with each other. In June of 2008, Nikki earned an MBA at the Presidio School of Management in San Francisco -- one of the world's leading educational institutions focusing on sustainable management. She has worked in a strategic capacity with Williams-Sonoma on a project to decrease waste in their stores, for Burning Man LLC on its five-year sustainability plan, and as a marketing consultant with Morrison & Foerster, one of the country's largest law firms, helping it establish its Cleantech Practice. Nikki has traveled the world interviewing CEO's and managing directors of some of the world's largest companies, discussing long-term economic strategy, environmental impact and social responsibility endeavors. Her previous work includes The American Film Institute, Japan Times Newspaper, InterActive Corp and Wells Fargo. She also co-created a local non-profit organization and is heavily involved in many community-based social networks. Nikki earned a bachelors degree in journalism from the University of Oregon.

  Naomi Colb: Being A Holistic Business Coach

  My guest, Naomi Colb from the San Francisco Bay Area, will be sharing about her journey from being a corporate recruiter to being a sole entrepreneur from age 55 to age 62. This journey has taken her into continuing education as a Holistic Healthcare Practitioner, and in the area of marketing for the 21st century, online and offline. She is also writing an e-book about my hip replacement surgery tiltled "Hip Surgery: How to Recover Rapidly!" After search for a marketable and satisfying niche, Naomi is launching a seminar, "The Freedom to Ask" coming up on September 13th, now tailored for former employees and/or college grads moving into their own business. She now works with people who were recently employed or in an academic setting who are faced with the challenge of starting their own enterprise. She provides support as they master the skills they need to move into this new identity and lifestyle. Her clients move beyond feelings of isolation and overwhelm and enthusiastically face each day. She will also be sharing her passion for supporting others to meet their physical and emotional challenges as they move from the office or the classroom into managing their own time and business. Naomi has a passion for people living healthy, productive, long and satisfying lives with a sense of ageless enthusiasm, celebration, appreciation, adventure, lifelong learning and growth.
